It's been a while, no?


Gypsy is going to a foster home on Saturday or Sunday assuming I can find someone to trailer her there by then. The woman who is taking her is really nice and very experienced with hard to handle horses. I am really glad how things turned out and though I will miss my mare terribly, I know that she will be happy and safe.

Started RPing once again, and let me tell you... holy stress reliever! I can't believe how much I've missed it!

OH, and the best part... my mother just happened to have her pastor nonchalantly call me this evening...

I haven't actually come out of the broom closet to my mother... but I am pretty sure she knows. She is my mother after all. And, since she and her husband have gone through this whole 'born again christian' phase, they have decided to take it upon themselves to convert the witch in the family...
So I have all the local churches, their phone numbers, their service times, AND the pastor even wanted to come out to my house to 'talk to me.' He wanted to me to call him if I needed to 'talk about anything' or if I needed to be 'filled with the word of god.'

Now, I'm all about faith of any shape or form but for goodness sake, do NOT press your beliefs onto me. I was raised lutheran and it just was not the right path for me. The path I am on now is the right path for me. Faith is faith, and that's what makes it beautiful. No one is right or wrong and we should all be able to live in peace. So mom, do me a favor, just love and accept me for who I am and what I do, stop trying to change me.
